This issue of Zanshin was a bit late in production, so I decided to make it a three-month issue. Things should get back on track again with the next issue. This issue we welcome Nigel Collinson to our list of contributors. Nigel submitted the cartoon you see in this issue. Thanks for the submission, Nigel. Those of you have gone through Shiko-Dachi training with Sensei Delaney will appreciate the reference to the "Misty Mountains".

There will be a fairly large karate summer camp in Halifax this summer. It is being organized by Dave Hunt's Karate Academy in Bedford (Uechi-Ryu), and will be held at Dalhousie University. Sensei Delaney will be one of the many instructors at the camp, as will Tsuruoka Sensei, the man who introduced Chito-Ryu and karate to Canada. Sounds like it should be a great camp. If you would to attend, contact Dave Hunt's Karate Academy for details, or ask Sensei Delaney.
